The 1930's had the Great Depression and the 1940's had WWII.  Cameras and film were hard to come by and thus photos are rare. Only a handful of postcards were produced during this period.  Amazingly, most of our collection of pictures are dated prior to 1920.  That is why photos and personal snapshots from these hard times are extremely important.  This picture is of Evelyn Puffer, Richard Dunkelberger, Alan Puffer, and Paul Dunkelberger.  It was taken at Diamond Ally looking northeast with the old Sun theater in the background.
