After the turn of the century, there were at least two photographers in Bangor who were dedicating part of their time to creating postcards.  The above photo is a postcard of the south side of Monroe St. on the east side of the railroad tracks, probably taken sometime shortly after WWI.  It became less profitable and less favorable as the 1920's approached to send photos through the mail.  As a result, there are fewer pictures available from this time period.  We are looking for photos, postcards, or personal snapshots taken during the 1920's.
