This is thought to be the sister photo to the one owned by Maurice Russell.  This is also a copy taken from the Bangor Advance.  The original picture was last known to be owned by Gertrude Sherrod.  It was taken from the east side of the railroad tracks looking southwest on Monroe St.  Both photos were believed to be taken sometime in the early to mid 1870's.  After Mrs. Sherrod's death, this photo also seems to have disappeared.  We would appreciate anyone's knowledge of its whereabouts.

Hey!  We found this one.  It's beautiful, crisp and clear.  It's in the book.
