Jesse Sherrod was conducting business in Bangor both as a merchant and an undertaker since the early 1870's.  In the above picture from left to right are Mr. Sherrod, his wife, his daughter-in-law, and two unknown people.  The building was on Monroe St. where the Mead Mall stands today.  This photo was thought to have been owned by Art Sherrod (Jesse's grandson) and was published in the Advance when he sold his furniture store in the 1960's.  Family members were contacted and like so many other pictures, this one has also disappeared.  We think it is still out there somewhere.  Please help us find it.
